Monday Night Disciples
Caskets for Babes
How this Project Began.

This Project got it start when a friend of the Sampey Family tragically lost her grand child. Her Grand Daugther was still born and her son didn't have the means to be able to take the baby from the hospital to bury him.
That when Don Sampey and his Catholic Men's Prayer Group, The Monday Night Disciples,  starting  to build Baby casket, that are free of charge for families. And, for babies who have been abandoned.
Caskets size range from a few week old's to two years. Build time takes about two days, and material are usually donated by local business. Caskets do not use any nails or screws of any kind. It's all done with glue and biscuits joiners. Wedding dresses are donated to the cause, and that's what they use to create the lining of the caskets and how they make the outfits for the babies to be buried in. This work is done to ensure that unclaimed and aborted babies receive a proper Burial. None of the Men in this group are Wood Craftsmen. As Don said: I had no idea how to spell wood-working. I really still don't, I mean. it's a learning curve straight up. Over a hundred babies have been buried.
It's is a sad thing, but then again the good Lord put us to do something, to take care of his babies. Our mission is only to supply a casket to a baby in need of a proper resting place.  Prayer is always present in this shop. We need Prayer support and donations. God Bless You and keep us in your prayers.
